On the lonesome road
He walks alone
Among the many
He walks among.
Like a shadow,
No more than a wrath.
Not looking for company,
Just looking for the last place he will see.
He greets you
Engages in banal chit chat,
And without showing his soul
He moves on.
Alone.
Back at his place,
Which he will no longer call home,
Like a ghost he drifts around.
Feeding the chickens,
Feeding the horses,
Feeding the dogs.
He feeds himself,
But the food has no taste.
All joy has left his life.
He’s achieved all
